The Dental Education Continuum provides continued professional development in dentistry, through products available on-line and though short hands-on courses, lectures and treatment focused training programs held though the year at the Auckland Clinical Training Centre, located in Newmarket, Auckland. The Dental Education Continuum is the dental education and mentoring arm at the Instiute of Dental Implants & Periodontics in Auckland.

Director, Dr Michael Danesh-Meyer's philosophy regarding continuing dental education, is that as dental professionals we should consistently strive to maintain the highest standards of care for our patients.
The Dental Education Continuum was established well over 20 years ago to assist dental heathcare professionals with readily accessable continued professional development by providing the resources and facilities to help you on your journey toward clinical excellence.
Courses for 2023
The Team at the Auckland Clinical Training Centre is looking forward to another excting year with courses in both periodontics and implant dentistry. We are excited to be once again offering in-person courses this year aimed at dentists, labortory technicians and hygienists. Topics for upcoming courses will include: Dental implant treatment planning, basic implant prostethics for the single tooth, extraction socket management, crown lengthening and much more. Our courses typically offer both didactic and hands-on components and represents a unique experience built around mentoring. Clinical mentorhships is also offered for referring dental practioiners with one-on-one clinical training in implant prosthetics. This year we are also pleased to announce the 5th year of the ITI (International Team for Implantology) Study Club (Auckland CBD). Spaces for courses are usually limited, so be sure to register ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
